Last year, the UK Events Industry was valued at a staggering 42.3 bn, a figure based on direct spend by organisers and delegates, with a large proportion coming from outside the UK. Unsurprisingly London is the most profitable location but the city also ranks as #1 in the EMEA in terms of meeting and events activity with a strong presence from international clients.
